Static balance is the ability to hold a stationary position with control. Dynamic balance is the ability to remain balanced while engaged in movement.  Most activities in life require dynamic balance as we navigate daily tasks, go for a walk, reach out to hold someone.

This mini workshop will focus on a variety of methods including yoga therapeutics, muscular engagement and balance exercises, to increase your dynamic balance through:

  • Improve muscle tone
  • Address muscular imblanaces
  • Increase body and balance awareness
  • Improve posture
Regular practice of yoga in this way can make you feel steadier on your feet, stronger in your legs, more confident in your movements and more comfortable going about the tasks of everyday life. Whatever your age, improving balance can give you a more confident stance in life.

Open to anyone who is fully vaccinated. 48 hour cancellation required for refund. For those who lack confidence in their steadiness, a chair or wall will be provided for additional support.
