Join us for a 2-hour experiential workshop as we explore self-love through mindfulness & meditation. Discover how we can befriend ourselves, become more resilient, and improve our overall well-being. We will learn practical tools and exercises that can be easily incorporated into daily life. Together we will experience:

  • An exercise of reflection and journaling to examine the tone of our internal dialogue 
  • A Loving-Kindness practice to begin the reframing process 
  • Self-kindness in an exploration of the body
  • The physiological benefits of touch and how it can relieve a moment of self-criticism or stress
  • Mindful walking and an awakening of our senses to the beauty in nature while imprinting kindness with each step 
  • An exploration of our values to know ourselves and give ourselves what we need
  • A meditation practice of breathing with kindness and self-love
  • Fostering gratitude as an expression of self-love
  • Self-appreciation through a letter of kindness to ourselves

Sarah Gouveia, Director of Programming at the Krame Center for Mindful Living, earned her Master’s in Counseling Psychology and is passionate about Mindfulness, Self-Compassion, Spirituality, and Mind-Body practices. Sarah leads weekly meditations, workshops, retreats, and teaches the 8-Week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Course as well as the 8-Week Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) Course
