Pilates Foundations: A 6-Week Beginner Series

With Whitney Speer, Tuesdays May 13, 20, 27 & June 3, 10, 17 from 6:30~7:30 pm

Discover the strength, control, and balance that Pilates can bring to your body. This six-week course is designed for those new to Pilates or anyone looking to revisit the fundamentals with fresh attention.

Each week, you’ll be introduced to essential principles such as core engagement, breathwork, alignment, and mindful movement. We’ll focus on building a strong foundation by moving at a comfortable pace, emphasizing form, technique, and body awareness.

Classes will include:
  • Fundamental mat exercises
  • Techniques for safe and effective movement
  • Breath-centered core work
  • Gentle strength-building and flexibility exercises
  • Tools to integrate Pilates into your everyday life
No prior experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to explore your body’s natural strength. Whether you’re new to movement practice or complementing your yoga journey, Pilates Foundations will help you develop stability, mobility, and confidence from the inside out.
